Was going för New PR in deadlift but didnt feel as good as last week. Got 275 which is the second highest lift I've done. Happy with that.

Thanks Mike! So sad I didnt take the opportunity last week to go for all time PR would have had 185 easy and maby more. Not doing deadlifts seems to be the recipe :D

1 week to nationals already been  "resting" 7 days (with 2 kids with flu so no sleep)

Pinnbench:

Hub 50-60% singles

Biceps 

Good mornings 

Actually felt strong in my hands which I haven't for a while, could squeeze hard before start. My thumb feels like its 50% bigger so rest was probably very good for me.

Bought my wife the Coc Trainer, she closed it the first thing she did while stil in bed aftersom setting info. (She knows how to set a gripper and have tried my 1.5 before with 15-18mm left) 

Then she got up, tried it again and smashed it easy, I asked her to do a few and got 5 almost closed reps.

Nationals:

Became a fourth place on my first grip-national !

Got with me a event win and an an split second place in Another event.  

Apollo: massive superslippery aluminum bar.

Managed 155kg which is PB with 5kg but 10kg below where i thought ... shit lift. Cim Johansson wins with 185kg which is a low weight.

 2hand pinch ingot:

Super slippery here to, I got next to last. The other guys adapted to the home made ingot and started using key pinch with very tilted handle and the winner wins with 15kg more then me.. need to get better to adapt. 

Eleiko holds 50kgs Must go out almost first because I came last in the event before, so I set the bar. Succeed with 37 seconds and become 4th in the event. Satisfied with the time and with that placement, it immediately got me in a better mood.

Hub: Going out and feeling the hub, despite other measures, the hub feels good. (65mm and almost shallow hub) People have problems directly while I lift easy with my weak hand. In the end, only me and one guy named Hans remain. He lifts before me, we both manage but he looks tired. So I skip my attempt so he can run straight again. He fails. So I'm sure to go in and start using my strong right, but miss !! Fk, I  try with the left 2 times, switches to the right again and with maybe 5 seconds left I get the lift for event win!

Dumbbell to box 70mm

Feels so much better with a dumbbell and not fatgripz. We are incredible 8 people up to 80kg but at 85kg everyone miss. We are only 3 people who can manage 90kg, 95kg is completely gone for me and Kim, also an incredibly heavy weight for Cim who holds the world record with the 60mm dumbbell. It feels incredible that we were so close to him in that. Shared second place! My points make me share 4th place with Hans that I beat in the hub, and because I had 1 event win I became 4th and he 5th.  Im 5 points from 3rd place, without the total faik in the pinch event it would not have been impossible at all. Satisfied with 4th place though! 

 

 

Next contest is in October and this is the plan I set up this morning.

Wednesday bench/ axle/ thumb and wrist
Friday bench/ pinch or hub or alike/Row
Sunday bench deadlift silverbullet

I need to strengthen my wrist so going for 300kg deadlift and 250kg doh. Where 250 doh is the main goal but they go hand in hand. Will start on 170kg 5x5 and do doh as many reps as I can and will continue doing dohs as long as I can while I progress.

Bloblifts, Pinch, hub, RT playing with a friend. Some heavier lifts on the RT up to a half rep on 86kg. 

Loadingpin at gym is only 33cm so I can add a plate under too get to IM height. 

 

Monday:

Deadlift all sets DOH last set 2 thumbless 3 DOH.
