They are Tetting grippers made specifically for the mash monster certification. There are 10 in total. The highest anyone has closed is number 8. I have closed number 6 and going for 7 this year. My opinion on their approximate ratings: mm1 - 153 ish mm2 - 163-164 mm3 - 180-183 mm4 - 183-184. I have to double check my notes but not much different than the 3 mm5 - 190 mm6 - 194 mm7 -197-200. Based on the 4 guys who have closed it mm8 - 204-206 based on the one guy who closed it

Chez
Here are the specs. They alter the mounts of normal Tetting spring sizes to get a gradual increase in strengths
Chez
Just now, Joseph Sullivan said: Wow sounds pretty tough In my opinion it’s the best gripper certification process because there is only one gripper for each level so every guy is up against the same gripper at each level to find out who the strongest is.

Absolutely! No varied ratings. It’s just less well known than say a COC.

I recalled reading you saying to someone be able to close 154ish gripper anyday of the week in order to close MM1- So I literally closed my COC #154 every day for 7 straight days even when my hands were sore as heck, LOL 3
