I placed second in the 50-59 age group, behind a world champion, and in a field of 13 lifters. And I improved by 55 pounds since last year. 😊 I'm really sorry I missed this! You did awesome Eric, I think that everyone on here knows how hard a 55lb increase on the total can be!!!! Some things for me never seem to budge, and I see consistent progress EVERY session you log. Cheers!

Bill Piche
I just want to say big time props Eric for being able to even powerlift at your age (not that your old, but you get it). I had to retire a long long time ago due to WAY too many liberties made when I was younger. However, the positive thing about that is I went searching for another challenge and it was GRIP strength given I had not wrecked my body in that regard! LOL!

Ironically, in my early forties I was questioning whether I could continue with it, due to lackluster performance; but I regrouped and got motivated all over again in my late forties, and now I feel better than ever. And yes, no matter what we do to ourselves, we always have grip!😀
