Never done these before either. 275 didn't feel monumentally heavy, just awkward and I was hesitant to go any higher. I might stick with these for awhile. Depth was right at parallel as I clicked the safety bar on one side. The past few years, anytime I get much over 365 raw, my hips and knees start to scream. But when things are feeling pretty good, it's hard to pass on these attempts. With knee wraps, I think I'd be right around 440 right now. But realistically, I need to use briefs when I do anything over 385 if I want to continue to squat heavy into my 50s. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This was the toughest horseshoe I've bent since probably 2013. After destroying the DC00, I figured I give it a shot. It was a tough bend, and left an almost immediate bruise on the kink, but it felt awesome to bend one of these again. After taking this down, I decided I am going to give one last run at my nemesis shoe, the SSP 8x18 #000, which I came close to bending back in 2012 for a cert, but came up just short.
