I tried to do a few DU bends with DHWG wraps touching, and reaggravated the issues I've been having the past few months in my bicep and forearm.  I only did two attempts and stopped out of frustration.  Not a good feeling.

If the pads touching aggravates everything, it may be best to just train the DU like normal, pads not touching, and then hit it hard in the contest as best as you can.  I am probably doing that with reverse. It keeps tweaking my elbow. I probably will not train it much and then just hit it as hard as possible in the contest.

I'm going to have to feel things out.  I'll continue to train mostly everything, mixing in IMPs and DHWG wraps.  But, I'm going to attempt to get some attempts in with wraps touching.  It was almost instantaneous pain with the other attempts.  I think if I would have continued, things would have been messed-up again.  The last issue took several months to resolve.  So, if there's still pain, I'm not even going to mess around with it.

I'm really starting to like trap bar deadlifts.  I'm still able to move some heavy weight, but they're not beating me up as much as conventional raw deads.  I'm going to keep working these into the routine, probably alternating trap bar deads, raw conventional, and sumo, with maybe a week-off after every three weeks.

My attempt at the 180 press was very weak.  Felt like I had nothing in the tank to even get close.  Going into grippers, I was planning to make an attempt at my 126 Super Master, and smash it, but decided to drop a little after my GHP5 felt rough, and the 240N attempt was way harder than it should've been.  Definitely not a strong day.

I was having some neck stiffness that wasn't resolving, so I went to a new chiro near my work (due to time restraints).  Ended up making it worse.  So now, I am getting headaches with it too.  😠

Thanks Eric.  It's chronic, but has been better more than it hasn't lately.  I've also been finding things that help, and continue to try everything, and discard what doesn't.  As long as I'm not getting the headaches with the neck pain, I'm happy.

I missed the 126 by about a mm on the close.  Felt decent going in but I definitely need to put some more focus into the last part of the rep.  Maybe start doing BTR closes again.  My set with harder (relatively speaking) grippers has fallen off a lot too the past few years.  I would like to get back to the 140-range before I'm too old to have a chance at this anymore.
