tarudriller Posted January 28, 2007 Author Share Posted January 28, 2007 Saturday 1/27 -DE Deadlift- 200 x 10 x 1 (55% of max) -Grip- 2 hand pinch 25's x 1 35's x 1 45's x 1 45's w/pipe + 10 x 1 " " + 15 x 1 " " + 20 x 0, x 0, x 0 35lb blob lift 5 singles right, 3 singles after 2 misses left Band extensions multiple sets of 40 ea hand Haven't done any DL work this cycle so I decided to do some light work, DE style singles....happy to see the 35lb'er going up, although reps with my left hand were done using the flat portion (bottom) of the blob. Still, it went up. I plan on doing alot more work with the 35....the 3 misses in the pinch pissed me off until I realized I have only hit that weight once before, not so pissed anymore but I still wanted to nail it. tarudriller Posted January 31, 2007 Author Share Posted January 31, 2007 Tuesday 1/30 -High Box Squats- bar, 75, 105, 135, 165, 195, 225, 255 x 5, 285 x 2 -DB Stepups- 45's x 3 x 10 -RDLs- 160 x 3 x 10 -Grip- ME Grippers- 4 tries w/RB240 right, w/BBSA left 35lb blob lift- 3 lifts right and left Band Extensions- 2 sets of 50 each hand My brother finally built me a box and it is a) a very well made piece of bombproof equipment, and b) pretty humbling. The 2 reps I got at 285 were far from nice form whereas I did 300 x 5 in very good style on the bench squats. The high box is 16", about 2" above parallel for me. Definitely work to be done here.....Stepups were done onto the 12" base box, felt much more balanced than on the lunges I had been doing. tarudriller Posted February 4, 2007 Author Share Posted February 4, 2007 Sunday 2/4 Main BP movement was changed again today, assistance stays the same.... -CGBP- bar, 70, 95, 120, 145, 170, 195, 220 x 3 -DB Bench Press- 60's x 4 x 10 -DB Bent Rows- 52.5's x 4 x 10 -Rear Delt Flyes- 17.5's x 3 x 10 -Weighted Crunches- 40 x 4 x 12 Felt much stronger in the CGs than I expected, I guess all the tricep work is working...
