"brookfield Stick"

I think it's like a broom stick with a thick string tied toward one end of it. From the stick hangs a small weight. The ebject is to hold the stick parallel tothe ground with your hand and use wrist strength and speed to twist the string up the stick. It was a grip tip on IronMind.com at one time I believe, or maybe appeared in one of his Grip Strength softcover books.

No, thats entirely different exercise. You can find the description here, but I also recommend buying Brookfield's excellent DVD Blueprint for Grip Strength, where he shows that exercise and plenty of others too.
