What does the Y stand for at the end of some of the grippers? Are they the ones you've closed so far?

My partial Ironmind collection, rated by Cannon

Hey there @matek - thanks a lot! For GHPs I am only lacking a 9. I have two 4s now actually, one RGC 85 (off the charts low) and one 95 which is on the higher side. It's nice to have a wide spread of ratings for training. I'm working on getting dupes of them all if possible (so far I've got an extra 2, 4, 5 and 8, soon to get another 6). Not trying to hoard them all, I just love to collect if I come across the right deal. -
Looks great! You're missing what? the #4 and the #9 by the looks of it I hope you'll find them soon and complete the GHP board

I do the tyre drag every time I train the evening. I think it has helped my busted knees a fair bit. I have done Kb leg ext before but not for ages . I’m struggling to get the gym in a member of to use the leg kit so I thought I’d just improvise. They hit in a wierd way. Give a go & see what you think . Let me know.

Got some more grippers and had them rated by Matt @Cannon - stoked! Now all of the GHP tags match the handles, hehe I'm a nerd like that. It's great having my grippers RGC rated now. Instead of playing guesswork, I know exactly what I can close and what I cannot. Matt is super cool, looking forward to doing more business with him... I also picked up a left turn #2, which happened to be rated exactly the same as my regular COC 2 at 103 lbs ... Pretty cool! -
what is the most a 140 lbs guy double overhand deadlifted

I was very lucky to get the opportunity to purchase this out of tolerance iron, is a hard RGC to get ahold of

Thanks for posting that - I was literally just about to start searching for FBBC Hard and Super RGC ratings. I now understand why I can't doing anything with my Super. . . .

@Cannon made a few grippers for a Tribute to Warren Tetting. (i think) Basically pinned Standards with big bevels . No stamps on the bottom. Heres me closing the 156 https://www.instagram.com/p/CpiAvSoAfDS/?igsh=enRvbGVnZ3UxaXF1

I’m gonna put one of these together for myself. Probably this weekend. What’s a Cannon Tribute?

Solid session, I love dragging the sled backwards, I start or finish every lifting session with them, and also do them on “rest” days (I am completely incapable of resting) i like the idea of KB leg extensions , was that your first time trying them? I’ll have to give that a try
-
Yeah this is a great idea, I’m gonna copy this idea also
-
That's impressive!

Go for the 124, give it a parallel set. It's just you doing bonus showoff at that point anyhow. -
I had to stay on them about the cannonball...but the accuracy of their dates seemed better with the baby inch so I thought they were improving. Guess not. For what it's worth...on smaller stuff it seems a bit faster...perhaps because they have some inventory already made. And that stuff being lighter...the boxes arrive in much better shape than the heavy stuff.

Bending+Training Log

If I had to list my top priorities it would be- Snapping (Tomajko style thigh crush) Classic underhand bending (like 1" space between pads) And horseshoes (most important). The rest would be armwrestling and physique related. -

Also, here is an sx7 #2 I did and a red nail snap Tomajko style, done 2 days ago. The red nail took ~9 minutes. No leg pad for that either. -

Did some more sx7 #2 and #1 with no leg pad the past few days. Also got some black triangle grade 8 bolts from a local supplier. Did one reverse and DU today. They were VERY hard. Harder than every other grade 8 I have tried. Great training bolts. They were $30 for 30 of them. Quite the steal. The bolt supplier has everything. I'm picking up 20 6mmx150mm 12.9 bolts. $2 a piece. I've been thinking about my goals lately. I wanna be amazing at horseshoes, so I think those will be my top priority. For unbraced I might stick to traditional underhand. Not sure what else I can fit in. Maybe the rest of my training will be more physique and armwrestling oriented.
