nightowl27
you made 12 reps per side with a 100pound kb? oh man, i think thats really very strong. i´m looking forward to get one rep with a 106 pounder. there´s a challenge on dragondoor.com. it´s called the beast challenge. you have to make one rep C&p with a 106 pounder as well as one pullup with it and one pistol to get the thing done. i think there aren´t a lot of people who have done it yet. think this will be no problem for you. best wishes , nightowl

I could not break it off the ground. I could lift it with by stopping the rotation with my other hand, haha. My training partner Dave Juma got some air time and another training partner Matt Brouse will it lifted next time they meet I'm sure, as these guys are thick handled pinch monsters! Thanks for your reply. You three could all make an impact in any grip contest. I'm pretty sure Matt will get it also, and Dave seems to make everything look easy. You are obviously strong enough overall to do it-wow 215 two hand pinch-I'm shocked you didn't get air unless you were too worn out before your attempt. I think pinch/thumb strength is main reason I was able to break it off the ground during my first attempts (despite weighing over 10 lbs. less than the bell). I think I'll use the finger tough method, perhaps with extra weight added plus negatives. Edited October 16, 2007 by odin
