I used BBW, plus 1/3 of IMPs cut, which gave me about 1.25-1.3" diameter in wraps. After doing this, I did a bench workout, at which point my forearms were fried. The briefs I've mainly been wearing (Titan Centurion single-ply) are getting pretty stretched out. They're going on-and-off in less than 5 seconds. The Hub felt great though! It wasn't to a complete lockout (shoulders not all the way back), but the plates were well off the ground. Right after this, I tried 60lbs. again on the Hub. To date, I've only been able to move it slightly across the ground. I tried it with my right hand and got the same thing. Then, I tried it with my left hand and finally broke the ground with it! Right after that, I hit another PR (rep) with 275. The 350 almost didn't happen because the rack height was two slots too high. (Also did a hub session yesterday, so didn't go all-out.) The differences in surface between the new/old hub is huge. The old one doesn't take chalk at all and is glossy/slippery on the surface. The 45 went up OK ... might have been able to get 50 up, but didn't want to push it like that two days in a row. In comparison between the two Hubs, my max with the old one is probably 47.5-50, and my max with the new one is just off of 60. Been working toward this number all year. I've come close a few times, but never been able to stand up with it until today. I tried a brief session with the old hub beforehand, thinking that I'd switch it up after, making the new hub seem a lot easier on the attempt. I'll put up the video later today.
