Slippery Pete
This feels huge to me, and I think I can cut the time majorly next bending session. Gonna give it a try with cordura pads soon There are alot of slow parts in the video, but I felt it would be best without edit. Donc101
Very happy with doing the 2 yards of grade 5 bolts challenge today. Cold hands in the garage made a bit tougher.
Donc101
I received a bunch of new steel to bend and snap from DHWOG yesterday. I did my first steel shredder 6 bar. I did the 233kg bar. Below is the video, a pic of the 233 bar and the steel I received.
Donc101
Today, I did 2 DHWOG double trouble bends. They are braced bars with 2 bars taped together. 2 x 12mm x 19” and 2 x 10mm x 12”. Here are pics and video. Donc101
Beautiful day in Michigan today. I was able to do a bend outside in short sleeves! Highlights of training were doing the big duke of all bastards cert DO and the DHWOG triple trouble bend. Real happy with both bends. Here is video and pics. Donc101
Great bending day today. I bent a Red Nail in one DHWOG pad Double Overhand in 15 seconds. I was motivated to do a minimal pad bend after seeing that old video of Hannes bending a red in 1/3 of a IMP. Crazy pain bending in 1/3 of a pad! One of my favorite bending videos ever. It really motivated me. My bend today is less padding than a full IMP but definitely more than 1/3 of a IMP. I hope to work up to do the 1/3 of a IMP bend before the year is out. I also did a fun scroll that I am real happy with. Different than any I have done before.

Donc101
My neighbors all think I am crazy, but I got a good workout wearing my Gar Nal while shoveling snow today. Brutal on the neck, upper back and low back. Edited January 18, 2020 by Donc101 3

People already complain about their lower backs when shoveling snow, but now you need a concrete necklace?

It was very difficult to do for a prolonged period.
Donc101
Scrolling is such good training. It was freezing cold in the 20s in the garage today. Weights didn’t feel great. I switched to some bends that were hard on cold hands. Finally, I grabbed a 10 foot piece of 1/4” x 1”. I only had an hour. I was sweating in no time. Hot in my 20 degree garage. This piece of steel was fighting me every which way. It is not finished yet, needs quite a bit of work before I am happy with it but gave me a great workout today.
Donc101
I have a lot of new motivation to perform more after a great weekend at Oldetime Strongman University. Here are some pics from the weekend.

Donc101
First time trying this feat, bending a bar on my head.
Donc101
I have been researching neck feats and strength a lot lately. I saw Pat P bending with a neck harness on. Looked cool. I tried it out. I bent a Red Nail tonight with 100lbs strapped to my head. Fun training. I am going to work more on this. You have to kink the bar lower than I am used to. I also tried to brace bend a 5” Gold. Kinked it to 20 degrees. That let’s me know it will bend. I need to get used to the short length and get a bit stronger and it should go down.
Donc101
Fun new scroll. I was bending like shit and switched to this and had fun with it. Scrolling is a go to for me if everything else feels like shit. I can just have fun and create and also get a great workout.
Donc101
Nice bending day today. I am most happy I did a decent reverse bend without my elbow flaring up. I think my reverse is pretty good to go hard again. Did this fun scroll too.
Donc101
I did my first scroll of a twenty foot bar. Lots of fun positions and challenges with the long bar. 1/4 x 1” bar. This is a commission piece. A family has very tall, 20 foot plus ceilings in their living room. Modern themed house. There is an alcove in the wall 3/4 of the way up with a spot light shining down on it. I bent this piece to fit in the alcove to be a central art piece for the room.

Donc101
I braced bent a 5.5” gold nail to 35 degrees today. Took a lot out of me. Totally tapped my central nervous system and I was drained afterwards. I think I should be able to do the full bend within a couple weeks. My pr is 6” done a couple weeks ago.
Donc101
Good training today. Here are 2 highlights. Braced bends of a 1/2” square x 18.5” bar and a bolt from DHWOG rated 325 kg at 6” cut down to 5”.
Donc101
I received a surprise package in the mail with this shirt! No idea who it is from. Thank you very much! I attempted a 6” 325 kg at 6” bolt cut to 4” as a thank you bend. Very tough. A little bit further and I probably could finish but not today. Here is a thank you video:
