Chez
Great to see him Killing it again after that horrible injury. He's one of the guys who inspired me to train hard with grippers Edited December 1, 2016 by Chez
avasatu
Glad he's back. What was the injury, and what caused it?
Chez
Just now, avasatu said: Glad he's back. What was the injury, and what caused it? He used a secret weapon type machine and tore something. He wrote about it on the board.
Fist of Fury
I think he got nerve damage in his hand from the secret weapon. Scary stuff. Great to see that he's back again.
Jared P
Just discovered Gabriel's old videos on his YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@sumGabriel/videos), and was blown away by his power. Dude had an insane grip. So I came here to find out what happened and why he abruptly stopped training. Sad to hear about the injury. He was really close to CCSing the 4, and probably would have gotten it.

There are a few videos of him on the german.grip instagram. First two are a chalkless Holle24 blob lift from december 2022 and a new german euro pinch record (112kg) from april 2022. He also won the Sauerland Grip Challenge 3 in january 2023. https://www.oldschoolstrengthclub.de/Events/2023/SGC3
