Oztexs
Hi All, i am a beginner when it comes to arm wrestling and I've started some exercises including CoC , wrist and other excerises. I am also starting to atend training sessions here in Sydney. I am 6'2 with long arms and have quite a strong grip .. i can close Coc #2. Based on that .. should I be concentrating on perfecting the Top Roll or Hook ?? Edited June 18, 2012 by Oztexs

blueviper42
You should first learn the fundamentals of hooking, toprolling, and pressing before you concentrate on any particular style.
jad
I've heard it both ways regarding both style (which should beginners learn first) and whether you learn them at once or master one and then move onto the next. Just get on the table with a group of experienced guys and they'll get you lined out.
pawel r
first you must learn the fundamentals of hooking, toprolling, and pressing probably top-roll will be the best for you, but this depends on many factors and can not be determined at a distance PS. one technique will not win the all competition
