Malice
Awwww...crap. I linked the wrong vid somehow. I'll fix it as soon as I can but in the meantime, Matt that quad band measures 166 lbs. Here's a video I did a while back of a GNC 300 that measured 169 lbs. Strong close, but the video showed a quad-band instead.

Autolupus
HG 350 closed rated at 81KG=178.57LBS Dimiean Eduard Nice close, have you got a video clip?
eduard23
No video.the close was done in front of some friends.the close was done with 3 fingers (i use 3 fingers for the max effort on grippers my pinky holds me back and with 3 fingers i wrap the gripper much better) and the pinky blocked the view.max effort my hand was shaking all over, made 2 mini reps on him. eduard23
Since i bought the 350 it becamed my goal.Better said a gripper at the 3.5 level was my goal. After i closed it i reached the level i wanted.
jchapman
Here is a 128.89 lbs (I hope you trust the guy who rated it ) #2.5. It has electrical tape on the handle because I was doing RRBT, so if that disqualifies the close, I understand.

daniel reinard
That's a BEAST close for you, Daniel. Thanks buddy. Been after that one a long time but elbow pain kept strength down until then all of a sudden. Super happy to get it with a block set too. Tried a RB330 at 185# right for my fourth gripper attempt and was an obvious fail but not terribly aweful. In October that would have been a BW close. But now I gotta close my BBSE to tie BW. Chez
I tried rated grippers for the first time this past weekend at the Durniat Comp. I got a 175lb Beef Builder Elite with a 20 mm block set. Here is the video with the gripper close at the beginning.

Cannon
eduard23 is going to take over updating this thread. Thanks eduard!!! The easiest way is to "quote" the last update, remove the quote tags and make the edits. Let me know if that doesn't make sense.
