daniel reinard
This is the most excited I've been for any grip accomplishment. I felt like doing some wrist curls after work but when I walked into the garage the blobs were calling me. I listened. After a quick warmup I felt great so I rolled Blobzilla over for an attempt. On first try I locked it out RH. But guess what, no camera rolling! I figured there was no way on the first try. Then it takes me multiple takes to even get a single lockout, but when I do the LH kicks into beast mode as well. I need a bigger blob... EricMilfeld
That thing looks ridiculous! Dan, do have any idea how it would compare to Fatman Blob in terms of difficulty? And congratulations!!!

Cannon
Whoa buddy. Well at least you found something that "challenged" you for a couple of months! What is next? I guess I've never seen anyone lift this:
daniel reinard
That thing looks ridiculous! Dan, do have any idea how it would compare to Fatman Blob in terms of difficulty? And congratulations!!! It's very hard to compare. Here's what I know: Laine is only one to fully lift the 30kg (66lb) Wade WAS only one to lift the 65lb Blobzilla Add me to the list and that makes 3 Wade had compared it to much more than a blob+15 I've seen someone pull blob+20 and fatman clones and not pull blobzilla David Horne says that to lift his 30kg would be his greatest grip feat ever, he has not locked it out I used my fatman as a warmup before trying this each time. Maybe it compares to a fatman+10 or more. My fatman is slick so hard to judge. The finger side is tested just as hard as the thumb side, something unusual in a blob. This blob was intended to be a project and well, it was for a little while. I wanted something I would cuss at for years. Legacy makes a 150# DB so when some funds come together I will buy one and make the first two 75# blobs, properly named Impossiblobs. daniel reinard
I would easily call this the hardest blob period (in conjuction with the 30kg version).
macaz
This very exciting to me. Just amazing. Congratulations Daniel! I remember you bought Blobzilla with the idea that you would have a goal for years....Oh well Maybe half of a 150# York will prove a challenge. If you get one please call it “Bloba the Hut”

If you get one please call it “Bloba the Hut” Thank you Rich! Yeah I thought it would take longer. For some reason it clicked that day, and without much warmup either. In the vid you hear my phone get a text message from Russ. I was texting how frustrated I was to lift it off camera and now can't get a vid to save my life. The last time Blobzilla saw more than an inch of air was over a month ago so who knows when I would be ready again. lol. I was lucky to finally get a solid video before I pooped myself out. Bloba the Hut is awesome. Better than Impossiblob?
jad
I would easily call this the hardest blob period (in conjuction with the 30kg version). Exactly. Jedd had one at Gripmas and we were messing around with it after the contest. I couldn't do anything with it but pulled the fatman to mid shin several times (would have killed it fresh)
Malice
That's simply unbelievable!!! It's definitely time for ImpossiBlob or at least a 140#er if you want to achieve another huge blob goal within a couple weeks

I know it will be lifted by you and a few freakazoids.Pluss I liked Jabba the Hut But of course if you buy it you name it what you like. You can name your Blobzilla "Little Bitch" now. Adam Moyers
Simply Amazing Daniel. The next step up is uncharted territory man. I'm thinking Bloba the Hut needs to be half of a 140 and Impossiblob needs to be half of the 150. Both of those names are too good to leave one out. Jedd had one at Gripmas and we were messing around with it after the contest. I couldn't do anything with it but pulled the fatman to mid shin several times (would have killed it fresh) And from what Paul Savage has said of the people he has seen attempt it, it stopped many strong grips. That's simply unbelievable!!! It's definitely time for ImpossiBlob or at least a 140#er if you want to achieve another huge blob goal within a couple weeks When I get some cash together we are doing Impossiblob brotha! No need for baby steps. This is the most excited I've been for any grip accomplishment. I felt like doing some wrist curls after work but when I walked into the garage the blobs were calling me. daniel reinard
Russ and I originally wanted to do the 130# to make the uber rare equivs of the 30kg blobs over seas. Then we thought what is the biggest we can go? 150#. The 65# blob is a nice jump up from the fatman clone and the 75# blob would be another appropriate level beyond that. I think buying 'tweener blobs is irrelevent at this weight because castings can vary a good amount in weight. Also these DBs are expensive shipped, then shipping the blobs ain't cheap either. I like the challenge each step in the blob ranking. Each jump in level seems spaced evenly IMO. Reg Blob Fatman Fatman Clone Blobzilla Impossiblob This very exciting to me. Just amazing. lifesnotfair
And Laine Snook actually CLEANED the 30kg one??? Someone needs to get that man training grip again! I didn't realize that was such a phenomenal lift.
EricMilfeld
Okay, so now I have a better grasp of just what you have accomplished, Dan.
