WOW, Paul pinched 215!!! That's the lift that jumps out the most to me considering the improvement and the common wisdom that it takes a long time to improve on this lift. No surprises on the grippers, I figured they'd be down considering the wacky order and the pause-set stuff. Eric's axle lift is also HUGE considering his handsize :bow:bow

I agree Josh, I would have guessed he would pull around 195 based on his recent pinch focus (and his prior trouble with the lift), but 215 is shockingly good, congratulations Paul! :rock :rock :rock

Paul's axle jumped up about 50 lbs. since GGC as well! :blink

It looked like there were several PRs set on axle.

Great job to all who had the fortitude to step up to the platform. :rock

You get no love on the axle due to your handsize :D but your pinch progress is freaking amazing as well :rock What's interesting is that I've heard other well-known gripsters comment that 2HP isn't that technical of an event and that's why it's such a good indicator of handstrength, big strong guys do well right away, blah, blah... You seem to be the opposite: you were already plenty big and strong, huge hands but just average on a supposedly untechnical lift. Then with some training your numbers skyrocket. Now I'm sure you've gotten stronger in a year but I'd guess a lot of it is getting used to the implement as well? Seemed like you were pinching 2 45's not long after training with Aaron so the base strength was there?
