David Horne
Congrats to all. If you give me their full names, and the contest name, I'll put your contest results in the Top 3 section. David
Jedd Johnson
Probably worth pointing out that James, Harley, & Aaron competed in a 4-event Strongman comp just BEFORE the grip comp That is impressive. Don't feel bad about the scoring. Scoring a competition is not the easiest thing in the world to do.
Titania
Congrats to all.If you give me their full names, and the contest name, I'll put your contest results in the Top 3 section. David Cheers David. James is emailing me all the full names of the guys and I'll forward those details on to you. I'd prefer to use my middle name 'Titania' rather than Danniielle because not many know me by my first name. I learnt one big lesson from this comp.....Don't take the warnings about v-bar underhand grip lightly....I ended up with a torn bicep tendon!! Ouch! David Horne
Titania, Sorry to hear of your bicep injury - hope it heals quickly. No problem regarding the name, I will sort this when I get the names. David

Hubgeezer
Very nice writeup and photos. GREAT V-Bar lift too. Anyone who hits 150kg is . Hope Titania's arm will heal. It doesn't need surgery does it? Her RT was very impressive.
The Mac
Titania's RT lifts are world records, aren't they? Big congrats As it states in the write up, no. Not a new handle. It is a great lift, though. Well done to all competitors.
Titania
Cheers guys My arm is healing very quickly. I actually tore both forearm extensors slightly with my underhand grip on the v-bar lifts and these are almost back to normal. My left bicep tendon (partial tear near the radius insertion) was the worst part though but even that is healing quickly. Lesson learned was that I will NOT be using underhand grip on the v-bar any longer!!!! Also, this was literally the third time I had ever done that lift so I am far from having ideal technique on it. A couple of weeks ago, I had my gym bag stolen from my car and along with it, my Rolling Thunder handle. Fortunately though, I have a supporter who has bought me a new one and I just tried my first lift involving my right arm since my injury last weekend. I managed 69.5 kgs with this new handle and with my arm still not 100 percent so I am feeling pretty confident of getting an official world record on this in my next comp
FrankyBoy
Glad to hear you are recovering quickly. It sounded very bad indeed. Now go and get the WR!
Mikael Siversson
Any heavy one hand lift (such as vbar lift) is potentially harmful to the biceps tendons if one has not practised it over a longer period starting with light weights. The rotation in vbar lifting adds to this risk. Both cases of tendon damage in vbar lifting that we have learned about have involved competitors (in both cases presumably with great biceps strength) with very limited experience of the lift. A bit like breaking your arm while arm wrestling as a novice. Hopefully your arm will fully recover.
