GatorGrip Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Great Job Bending a Grade 8 is a milestone in bending my suggestuin to you cyokota is that you try to explode into the bar more which will help get the metal moving and once it is moving don't stop for more than a a couple seconds or the metal will begin to set. Brad Manion Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Having bent two of the 1/4" x 5" G8 bolts myself, I know how difficult they are to bend. Both of mine took about 5 minutes to bend and I was completely spent afterwards. I just did the 1/4" x 6" square a few weeks ago and it was a monster, though nowhere near as bad as the 1/4" x 5" G8.
