burner
Been tearing 800- 900 pg. phone books for about a year now. Just got a hold of a fatty 1700pgs. I can't really crease the pages like clay taught everyone. Is this just all wrist now? I've been pounding my wrists for a while but is there something I'm missing? phone books rule burner
acorn
I usually just do grip and rip technique. Not sure how many pages the biggest I've done is but it was 2 1/8 thick. How thick is that 1700 pager? - Aaron
coopers308
Ive found when they get that thick that you can still use the same technique, but instead of using your thumbs and creasing the pages concentrate on getting that nice V shape and getting as many of the top pages as tight as possible, with a decent amount of force ive been able to get through about 3/4 in one motion, then the rest is easy. Tfriend
i tore a 2500 page phonebok on neyyears eve (aprox 3 1/4 inches) i used a double underhand technique i came up with , i grip the book and do the same overall technique that is considered "poping the book", but with double underhand i get much more tightness and tension in the book, and a stronger crease. steelbiceps
I find grip & rip the best for thick ones. The thickest I did was about 2050 pages. It ends up being an ungly grip & rip, in which there is no real V shape, but the pages rip from the top down, not all at once.
