Yeah, for the style it doesn't stop at DU, but you should reach at least 45° or more before switching over to overhand/crush. You don't need a strong overhand, you could just keep it chest level and succeed. -

Steve, maybe you should use chatGPT to translate, it may provide better context. It's been suggested to me, and has helped a lot. The rules are using ironmind pads folded into thirds, then taco over the bar. No rubber bands. The bend starts DU, but ends in an overhand crush to the full 2". It's actually a way to cert the red nail currently. I like it, as it's a traditional style. You can look at some of my videos for reference, or view David ostlund's bend of the red. -
