Cannon
That’s kind of wild. Did you put reps on them prior to the first measurement? They were well-oiled and clean for the first measurement?
John Knowlton
Yes . cleaned and oiled then put 30 reps on them before. These were some of the first ones I did. I am still working on it,I need more practice ,when I get more time I will redo the ones I’ve done for myself. Any sort of consistency or predictability to it, with certain brands, rep totals, or time?
josé adalton
That's strange, Cannon performed 10,000 reps (!) on a CoC #3, and it lost only two pounds. Nobody can do 10,000 repetitions on a CoC #3 with his hands. I guess.
John Knowlton
I think the first time I rated them I might have been doing something wrong. We are trying to experiment with different ways that would be more precise. Not that we’re going into any business or anything, just playing around. I’m waiting for some pre-rated grippers from Canon and I compare what they are to what I get.?

John Knowlton
I just received pre-rated rippers from Canon. I checked them on my rating device and they are exactly what canon rated them at. But using a leverage bar can be inconsistent even with using a feeler gauge. I think using the lever bar on this device is good to get the 30 reps in. However I think I'm gonna have to come up with some kind of Threaded system , that will be a more of a accurate test.
