Anyone know the history for Iron Legacy Titanium?  I never had a chance to get any of these…

Hopefully @VITALIK SEVKO will chime in, but I believe a Tetting Master gripper was taken apart and given new custom handles. I've also seen gilded and plated Tettings where the springs were golden and the handles chrome. Again, I believe those were regular Tettings altered after the fact by someone other than Tetting.

I'm guessing on most of this, so anyone feel free to set the record straight.

For a long time I had the idea of making high-quality grippers with titanium handles, but I didn’t know which springs to choose. Also, a few years ago I bought a batch of springs from Warren Tetting (I am very grateful to Brett H for help with this!) I decided to choose the Iron Legacy logo myself. And in memory of Warren Tetting, on the other handle I used the classic names of the grippers in accordance with the size of the springs. I made about 50 of these titanium grippers. Some were sold. And one complete set I kept for myself

Damn…  custom titanium’s with Tetting springs.. very cool.  I’ve seen some of them in collections.  Always wondered where they came from.
