Mash Monster certification scheduling occurs every two months, or as soon as all scheduled attempts have been completed. The entry level MMG certifications are OPEN signup and each member should post in the MMG forum to tell the GripBoard they are ready to be witnessed.

At the beginning of the period, scheduling occurs on a first-come, first-serve basis. The period will be closed at the discretion of the MM cert admin. When a new level is first opened, the order of certification attempts will be determined by a lottery. This will take place for the first session of the new level only.

The beginning of the schedule period will be announced in the Mash Monster Certification forum on the GripBoard in a post by Bill Piche (Wannagrip). The replies to the post in a first reply first in schedule will apply.

The number of certifications that occur during the two months depends solely on the number scheduled and that are able to be executed in that time frame. Certifications will continue to be conducted in the order of the schedule even if the next two month scheduling occurs prior to all scheduled certifications in the prior two months.

Wannagrip will post in separate threads the scheduled Certifications by name. For example the title of the thread format will be: Joe Smith Certification. A GripBoard witness or witness of credible standing will be selected or chosen and announced in the thread.

The person to be certified must use PayPal and pay $10.00 to Eric Milfeld. European certifications now have a flat rate of $20. Once the cert thread for your cert is started, you have 24hrs to pay. Failure to do so will put you at the bottom of the list. Use the PayPal link posted and pinned in this forum. The certificate will be forwarded electronically to be printed at your discretion. For other International certs the actual cert fee needs to be figured out on a case-by-case basis due to postal costs. Contact Username: EricMilfeld

It is the responsibility of the person to be certified to contact the witness (if used) via PM or email to set up a time to certify them. This time and place must be posted by this person in their certification thread in the Mash Monster Certification forum prior to the actual event. The event must be scheduled at least 6 working days (Mon-Sat) to allow the certification gripper to arrive to the witness.

The witness must post in the thread for the person to be certified that they have received the certification gripper.

It is the responsibility of the person to be certified to post in his thread that a video camera is available and ready. The video (NO .mov or .mod format, youtube is not accepted either) must be sent within 48 hrs to Wannagrip at the following address: Cyberpump, 3505 28th Ave., Marion, IA 52302. Or emailed to Wannagrip at editor@cyberpump.com. The tape can be in VHS, VHS-C, 8mm, or 8mm digital formats. Preferred format for email or download is .wmv or .mpg. No video proof taken at the time of the certification will result in the certification being null and void and the person ejected from the GripBoard for life. A picture of the person certified from at least the waist must be included as well. A digital photo can be emailed or a regular photo to be scanned can be included with the video tape. NO envelopes should be used to send the gripper or tape. A BOX must be used to transport the gripper and the box must be taped shut. No exceptions.

The person certified MUST give the witness the $ so the gripper can be returned to the home base within 48hrs by Priority U.S. mail (insured to $100 dollars) by the witness or the certification is forfeited. The witness must post in the person's certification thread when the gripper is on it's way back to home base. Failure to send the gripper back within 48hrs unless under extenuating circumstances will result in ejection of the witness for life from the GripBoard. After the gripper has returned safely to home base, it will be inspected. After the inspection, Wannagrip will PM or email the person who was certified seeking profile information for publishing.

The certification success or failure will be announced in the person's certification thread by Wannagrip. The witness should also post a description of the feat witnessed in the person's certification thread.

The short profile, interview, and torso picture must be sent to Wannagrip (editor@cyberpump.com) within 72 hours of the certification or the athlete forfeits their certification. These forms are pinned at the top of the GripBoard Mash Monster Forum. Depending on the circumstances, failure to submit this information such that the athlete was forfeited from the cert will also result in an automatic suspension from the whole Mash Monster cert process with a request for reinstatement in writing to be submitted to the moderators of the gripboard for evaluation to determine if the ban is for life.

The profile will be published by Cannon and announced on the GripBoard main forum.
