Nuttgens
@Eric Roussin is this open to anyone or do you have so qualify for it? Also what is meant by classes recognized I am assuming i can weigh in less than 105 but I will just be competing against heavier people is this correct?

You just need to be a Canadian resident. The contest will only have two men’s classes (105 kg and 105+ kg). So yes, you would be competing against anyone under 105. However, your lifts will be entered into the Grip Sport International database in the correct class according to your body weight (e.g., 93, 83, 74, etc.).

This would be my first comp but strongly considering making the trip from Calgary.

Eric Roussin
Getting excited for this one. It will likely be the most competitive single-venue grip contest held in Canada to date. A fun chance to see how I directly compare with the grip greats of Western Canada.
