Just an honorable mention to Peary Rader whose

contributions to the iron game began in 1936 when

Iron Man magazine began.

Allowing David Willoughby to write The Kings of

Strength series for Iron Man allowed many of us

to get a grasp of detail regarding strength feats,

including various grip achievements.

Rader tried to walk a parallel tightrope between

Weider and Hoffman in the publishing business,

and some of the older issues of Ironman are a

grip specialists dream to read, full of details and

photos.
