Roger Roberson
Anyone ever use one of these? If so how does it feel in your hand.
slazbob
Looks like a replica of an PDA Gripinator. A company from long ago. This one in your picture doesn’t look as much like it because it seems this one you have to push closed like an Iron Mind Hardy Hand Shake and do a negative. The PDA one, I believe, let’s you have your fingers on the lever-arm handle. Much more useful...IMO.

IMO the moving arm simply must be in the fingers.
JHenze646
Having the moving handle in the fingers does seem more beneficial.

The Gripboard gave feedback to PDA saying that the Atlas would be better if it were able to mimic the closing of a gripper. PDA listened and the Gripanator was created from the Atlas. The Gripanator had about a 4:1 ratio Edited March 18, 2020 by Rick Browne

Rick Browne
A good feature about the G that I liked was the ability to adjust the handles width from closed to as wide as 3+ inches. You could also ,at the time , get a Beyond the Range handle. That made the machine real nasty. But in a good way
Shoggoth
I have a PDA Atlas Grip Machine. Doesn't feel "right" and digs into the hand weirdly. Only ever used it really for negatives and that was pretty minimal as well.

I could be wrong, I think it could have been Tommy Heslep. I really cannot remember for certain.
John McCarter
It was KJM who was attempting to sell it.
