Leonard_Washington
Chris, what year do you consider the first Gripmas? I need the year to make prizes and presents.
climber511
The first "thing" I called Gripmas was 2003 - it was more of a "get together". 2004 was a "contest with no prizes" - very informal - 2005 was the first full blown contest with todays format. So the Name is from 2003 and the contest from 2004 - sort of. It started out a small group of people I had never known before and has ended up with many many friends - both old and new. It's not the competition memories I will cherish but the people who helped make them. Prizes and presents? - Awesome!
richcottrell
Does anyone else plan on 52mm for the Euro? I would hate being in a pinch width group of just myself, so I might drop down to 50mm just so I do not compete alone at the 52mm width
climber511
I'm at 52. We have 2 euros - maybe 3 so I'll set one up at 48 (if needed) - then one at 50 - one at 52 etc and go through each width before moving that one on to whatever is next. May need even a 44 for the ladies - I don't know. We have some people coming who have not used a Euro before so like normal - they'll have to play around a little first to decide. I think we're having 3 Axles as well - really hoping to keep things moving along so everyone can try as many things as they want throughout the day. Vinnie
I think I put 50 for Euro but I think I am fine with 52, I don't really know which is the width I PR'd on anyway and they are not that different.
JHenze646
I am going to get there late and I would like to ask everybody’s forgiveness in advance because I will be taking lots of photos and videos since it will be the Last Gripmas.

Tom Flesher
I would like to publicly announce that I plan to miss weight tomorrow morning. Incidentally there are some excellent breweries in Coshocton County. 2
