Working my way towards a Goliath Bar

First videos in nearly a decade. Hope you guys enjoy. These were the last two bends of a big workout. Did a 15" piece of 1/2", 26" piece of 5/8" and 4 bends of this stock. Not too hard but it was starting to wear on me.

Agreed. From your experience should I go straight for a Goliath? Or possibly try shorter stuff or a different sized flat?

48" stock is just awkward for my body type so I worry that it won't budge an inch.

I know Steel varries, but the goliaths I have are beasts. Much harder than the bends above. I have only barely wobbled the bars I bought. I would think you need to be working longer stock to get the Goliath. 48” feels a lot different than shorter stuff and has new angles to figure out.

The goliath is a goal of mine to. I a look forward to seeing how you train for it and to see your progress. Good luck!

What @Donc101 said! Definitely stick with the longer bars! Look what you can find on various flat bars (0.5" x 1", 0.5" x 1.25") and work your way up. It will go fast, as soon as you figured the techniques to use!

Good luck!

Great goal! Pretty sure, you will get it too!

As said in the post above, try to figure your techniques with smaller sizes and the Goliath will go down!

All the best! 👍
