July 23 in Sumy, Ukraine was held "Beginners Grip Sport Contest". Some doubted the reality of the tournament of 15 exercises - but 10 motivated people  invested in 8 hours with three breaks for the eclairs with protein cream and coffee. No one fainted. Moreover - some competitors asked for off-set attempts to determine their personal maximum, almost all of them came the next day to plan training and are interested in the date of the next competition.
And the weight rising quite decent.
For example, Nikolay Zinchenko from Borodyanka (Kiev region) lifted 68kg in a 71 year old on 2,5'Crasher and 100kg FBBC V-bar. Dvorsky Eugeniy at the age 15 and 70,5kg b.w. lifted 80kg V-bar and first time in his life holded Silver Bullet with CoC-2.5. Athletes were lifted more than 35kg on EP in a pinch with one hand and 38kg on a one-handed pinch on Flask. 70+ kg in a two-hand pinch with EP and Flask. 100+ on V-bar FBBC. 35+ kg on a Shallow Hun in the style of key pinch ... Albert Gapich (17years old, 87.6kg b.w.) won the absolute competition by points with several personal records, including 100.5kg on a V-bar, 63.1kg Crusher, 70 + kg 2 hand EP and Flask and holding Silver Bullet 6.02 sec withCoC-3 and 28.9 with CoC-2.5 ...

I also want to express my gratitude to David Horne and Igor Kupinsky for their kind words and support when organizing this tournament!
And to Eric Rossin, Andrew Pantke and Gil Goodman for the inventory in which we train and compete - thanks to all these people grip sport in Ukraine develops!
