" Tips Tester (Weight increased in 15-lb increments) "

Just curious...how did you come up with that number.  Thanks Eric.

This is the event I think will see the heaviest weights lifted, so the weight jumps will be bigger.

Is the Tips Tester a 1H or 2H lift?

It's a two-hand lift.

I'm pleased to say that Barrel Strength Systems has sponsored some prizes as well as a Tips Tester MKII which will be used in this contest.

Thanks, Gil!

I've been getting some good feedback about this event. It looks like there will be a handful of first-timers in attendance.

If you live in upstate New York or Vermont, Ottawa really isn't that far of a drive.

Anyone who's interested is free to come by one evening to try out any of the equipment. Just shoot me a PM.

This contest is just 10 days away. If you're interesting in a contest that features less traditionally tested events, this may be perfect for you.

Impressive list of events, an octathlon, good luck to all competing.
