Oztexs
Hi All, I'am part of a Youth group and we invested in a arm wrestling table to promote some competition at our regular events. Since I've been into Arm wrestling for a few years .. only at work .. Everytime I pull someone, soon after I get sore elbows and this goes on for days afterwards. I am starting to get serious with this now as I am training every week but I dont want to get tendonitis everytime. It's quite frustrating actually. Any advise on what I should do ??? Griffin
Three months ago I had elbow pain so bad that I could'nt close any tough grippers or lift heavy block weights. I bought Jedd Johnson's elbow pain e book, and following the advice in the program has taken away all of the pain in my elbow. So, the program they give you would be good prehab for you and it is priced very reasonably for what you recieve. That is the case though with anything Jedd offers. He is a wizard! verdigriz
Hi Oztexs, I have been running a group (from my house) in melbourne for close to 3 years now and I understand your elbow pains all too well. Just some ideas....always warm up thoroughly, know when to stop pulling, dont always have long drawn out matches fighting from the losing position (these do alot of damage imo) and sometimes one week between pulling isnt always enough time to rest. Work around injuries, sometimes you may have a session but can only pull left..or right because of being sore, try not to pull when injured..it will bring nothing but heartache lol. All the best Brendan
Broly
Invest in a powerball. Anytime I start getting to that point I'll work with the powerball everyday for 10-20 minutes and it fixes it right up. Lay off any other training during the pain. The amount of rest time after an AW practice session will decrease with consistency but for the first couple of months of dedicated training it will take a while to get back in there and pulling again.
