Savage Jake
So i read the other day that someone contacted Ironmind to request a shot at certification on the # 4 a few days ago and its the first time someone has in 8 years. Anyone have any idea who this person might be?
Electron
I think it was meant that if the feat is done, it'll be the first in 8 years. Because I think I remember a few people trying to cert on it more recently, namely Ioan. Unfortunately though, I don't have a clue who the #4 challenger is. Chez
My guess would be Nathan Holle. He just got the GHP 9 cert so it would sense.
bubba29
My guess would be Nathan Holle. He just got the GHP 9 cert so it would sense. is he active on the ironmind forum?
Electron
My guess would be Nathan Holle. He just got the GHP 9 cert so it would sense. He's already certed on the #4 and the more difficult GHP9, so I doubt he'd recert.
Chez
My guess would be Nathan Holle. He just got the GHP 9 cert so it would sense. is he active on the ironmind forum? Don't think so. I don't know much about him but people say hes not active on forums or youtube and keeps to himself. My guess would be Nathan Holle. He just got the GHP 9 cert so it would sense. He's already certed on the #4 and the more difficult GHP9, so I doubt he'd recert. no one has done it under the new rules though. Some people have re-certed the #3 under the new rules (Paul knight for example).
Chez
correction. Randy just gave a clue on the ironmind forum: "How about if I say that it's not someone who is certified on the CoC No. 4, but he has been certified on at least the Captains of Crush No. 3." guess Nathan is out. lifesnotfair
Perhaps the author of this video? Although this video is exactly 1 month old, don't know how much progress can be made in such short time.

Cannon
Rich Williams Nathan Holle (looking to show it can be done) Ioan Puscasu Vache Sevajian (only because I don't know anything about him) Just some guesses. This will be interesting to follow.
yummy
noone mentioned the dark horse russian guy, certed on the 3 and 3.5 Edited May 30, 2012 by yummy
eman
Ok, I am thinking either Holle or Vogt. I think Vogt would have told us though? Plus Vogt may be about 5 pounds give or take, off based on his last video.
Kashtan
I am sure that this Puskasu. He promised to be certified after the European championship in arm wrestling, it turns out the application received after the championship. Nathan - no (see post #7). Rich - is not keen on grippers. Sevajian - no, because he has a problem with the little finger, he closed with three fingers № 3.5, but to do with the number 4 - you have to be stronger than Nathan.
