In 2003 I found strongman and I have been hooked. Training grip is a big part of strongman, I enjoy grip work. How did you get into grip training? I realized I was pretty good at it through strongman so I did some searching and found Chris Rice in Crooksville, OH. He taught me some lifts and seemed to think I would do well with it so i entered his contest a few weeks later. You are now a GripBoard Mash Monster, what would you recommend to those aspiring to close this gripper? Double Overhand Olympic Bar deadlifts for max singles, doubles and triples!! What are your favorite grip exercises? Grippers and Fat Bar. What kind of starting routine would you recommend for a trainee new to grip training? Follow Jedd Johnson's programs, the guys knows grip! Train with him if possible! Who do you most admire in gripdom? Jedd Johnson, Chris Rice & Chad Woodall. What do you believe is the most difficult grip exercise? Blobs. What are some of your personal bests in grip exercises? Inch Replica, BLOB50, COC #3, Good at choked grippers - not sure how high. What do you consider to be the greatest grip feats of all time?
