lifesnotfair
Voevoda - 3 weeks after zloty 2004 (W.O.A.) And that's a young Pushkar, arguably not as strong as in later years when John beat him. Neil Pickup has said that a lot of things went on during that '04 Zlotty and it's not as plain and simple as the video seems to indicate (Alexey quickly beating John). Alexey surely deserves props but just from that tournament and that performance it's ridiculous to call him best ever or strongest ever. That tiny, 209-pound, semi-injured John, vs. Alexey, whose russian opponents layed down for him as to not tax him during that tourney before his match with John..... I'm sorry but that match cannot have THAT much significance as to say "Voevoda was the strongest ever". Does it have significance? Sure! A lot! But not enough to support such a claim, not knowing all of that other stuff. Just my newbie opinion.
eduard23
Each period has its champion, so I do not believe in comparisons.Of course each time had rivalries and duels, but the generations do not compare in my opinion.Voevoda was a giant and among the greatest armwrestlers ever.
