Finger Curls?

Recommended Posts

Hey, this is my first post, I love this site! For the past 10 years or so I've been doing finger curls. Standing straight up like I'm about to do a shrug, I let the bar roll down my fingers as far as I can, then using just my fingers I roll the weight back up. I usually work up to 225 then do a few drop sets, sometimes working down to an empty bar. I do these at the end of my forearm workout and I get a pump down to my wrists. After a good workout I cant write in my log book and even driving home is a challenge. Does anyone else do these? I never seen anyone do them, but I'd like to know what you serious grip devotees can do.

Finger curls are a great movement - and 225# is a good weight - I always figured 1 1/2 times bodyweight was a decent goal to shoot for.

Or for some of us, that would be 75% of our bodyweight! ;):laugh
