Guest bf281
Walking past a construction site today, I noticed something that will make great grip eqpt. In the trash pile where cutoffs of laminated beams (Gluelam..etc), of vaying thickness and depth. I asked the carpenters if I could take pieces from the pile, they said to help yourself so I did. I grabbed 4 apprx 6 ft pieces of lumber. One beam looked like a regular 2x10 but it weighed a lot The other pieces where approx 3x12 maybe larger. I figure I can cut up the longer pieces into manageable sizes of varying weights(will use bathroom scale) Then I can still add weight if needed as other pinch block methods I tried to hold the 1 piece of 3x12 that was about 2 ft long it was pretty tough to get a grip on--I think thats good !!! Well just thought that this might interest others Grip on!!
