  1. I bent a 50lb box of 60d nails this morning. 576 nails in 2 hours and 29 minutes. I am beat. I will post more about it later. Here are some pics.

  2. Actually wasn't feeling 100% this morning, which is why none of these were super fiery. Still got some massive bends! Waiting on Andrew to get me a current count of his 13/32, 27/64, and 7/16 stock so I can keep climbing the ladder of weirdly named steel, haha. Thanks again to @KRC for the Tsar stock. Enjoy!

  3. Great training weekend. Saturday 8/8/20 Went to Tim Butlers for a training session. Messed around with Pinch, thick bar, grippers and sledges but the only thing which was really on was thick bar which is great because today is my scheduled thick bar day anyway. The highlights were hitting a huge PR on my super slick and unseasoned 2.5" Crusher at 164 lbs. That is an all time PR on my handle and not just post surgery so I am stoked. I might have had a little more in me but next up I went for Tim's 152lb Inch Shalaney Dumbbell with a 2.5” thick handle (little thicker than the real inch) and got it which is awesome cause its the heaviest inch style dumbbell I have ever lifted. Videos below. Today 8/9/20 Got to the gym late. Only had an hr until close so I had to move fast. Got home at almost midnight last night so I got a slow start to the day. Deadlifts 4 warm ups 315 lbs - 2x 355 lbs - 2x 395 lbs - 2x 435 lbs - 2x. nice. Best deadlifts session in a while. Making progress towards that 500 lb goal for year end. Stiff Leg Deadlifts 225 lbs - 10x. Just wanted some volume and something less taxing Lat Pulldowns 150 lbs - 10x 170 lbs - 10x 190 lbs - 10x Close Grip Cable Rows 150 lbs - 10x 170 lbs - 10x 190 lbs - 10x

  5. It might be a while. I didn't send any to Andrew for several months then recently sent him something like 50 certs. HAHA. I told him to take his time reviewing them all.

  6. I hope so but either way Alex beat me to it fair and square! His crush is STRONG! I'd say stronger than mine at the moment. I think I have him beat on kink strength though. Either way I plan to have the equalizer before the end of August!

  7. I think there’s still a bit of uncertainty about what is and isn’t permitted with the Grab Ball, so I shot this little video. I hope it helps. If anyone still has questions, please let me know.

  8. Joining the fun! Sorry, didn't mention the competition nor did I do the math on camera. Kinda forgot everything in the process. Oh well enjoy my war face atleast! That's an Ironmind Axle with 15kg+10kg+5kg Leoko plates.

  9. Alright so here’s a video from today when I had a partner to film it. Was able to get 153 on the Titan axle bar I linked to earlier in the thread, the bar weighs 23 pounds and I had two 45s and four tens. Definitely a fun challenge and the only strict curl experience I had previous was watching a video of Denis Cyplenkov (spelling?) break the world record on a EZ curl bar. It’s something I’ll add in occasionally to my workouts even after the challenge is over to make sure I’m really isolating and not cheating. Curious to see what the rest of the month holds in store.

  10. Wrong climber haha, there's no way Chris would get double digits on this lift.

  12. I just finished up my testing of Spyder Chalk. It didn't do as well as others. Costs between 5 and 10# on my Euro pinch. Even more on Axle. Your mileage may vary. Next up is VIKN.

  15. Ok, if any of you US benders is interested to make a bulk order just let me know. In the meantime.... Yesterday we had a new entry: Amir Bayour certed the A2 bolt with a nice view in the @Donc101 area. Nice to see how benders get other benders to the cert. Here is the Video:

  17. Hi guys. Well, it’s been 16 years, but I am back. I wasn’t able to recover my old user name. Anyways - I am selling all my gear. Is there a classifieds section on the board? Couldn’t find it. Here is my eBay listing. Let me know if you are interested? Thanks - rek http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575378759&campid=5338273189&customid=&icep_item=392903145198&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229466&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg&toolid=11111

  18. @Horrido I meant an informal "distributor", as I know you aren't doing this as a for-profit business (which I commend even more). More like a "bulk order" from someone in the US to streamline the shipping (costs). I wish I was in a position to volunteer. Mostly I was just expressing interest if a bulk US order did occur.

  24. Oh, I'm sure I can beat Chris out for last place. I will try it later, if I can find a light enough axle lol. Well OK, maybe I can do the axle itself.

  25. I am pretty sure I would go. My approach to Corona restrictions is that I observe whatever guidelines (and laws) are in place at the time. So as long as the gathering is done in a way that is legal, I am in. I'd keep 6 feet from folks and have a mask on hand (assuming that's still the guideline then). It was a pretty big place and we were only about 10 last year. Even if more people showed, it wouldn't be unreasonably crowded. And no, I would not wear the mask doing the events lol. As long as no one is up near my face while I do them I'm fine. What events are in? I'd LOVE to see Dynamometer.

  27. OK, here we go.... Dear steel bending gentleman, we have a new Cert in the books. Very happy to have this bend on the list. It was one of the reasons for me to create this cert: see the best bends possible. It is one of the best bends in steel bending history - in my opinion it´s probably the best one till now. Alexander Klimovich could bend the 12.9 bolt today. This is a huge bend only a few will understand. Huge Congrats to Alexander. The list was updated: https://www.horrido-bending.com/cert-list And here is the Video (unfortunatley not the best video because of sun and shadow games, but make sure to watch it on the computer with bright light and you can see everything!) Maybe we will see another 12.9 cert in the near future from also one of the best benders from the other side of the world!? Or can anyone bend this bolt shorter? Who knows!?

  28. Just stating the hand size with no other info as people seemed to think he has very large hands. I dont give a shit how big anyones hands are just lift whatever you can lift. There are some things not feasible (facelifting blobs, etc) but most issues are weakness. If you can lift it with two hands using the same hand placement then one hand just isn't strong enough.

  29. I agree. I like to believe its true, because Nathan is super strong and he's been very kind to me when answering questions and giving advice. Very nice person. But will not know for certain until a video surfaces.

  30. Incredible bends Derek! I remember when I was active here (the last time), and you were 14-15 years old. You were strong back then but this is superhero-level. Totally incredible journey and development you have done. Awe-inspiring. You've actually made me inspired to bring up the wraps and test some DO again

  31. Carl's hands are at the largest 8.5", not giant for someone that is that tall as people like Gil and Tanner have the same size hand as him in much smaller frames.

  32. Carl might be the strongest at the moment but I think full strength Nathan is stronger. Seems like Nathan has had bad luck with injuries lately and is trying to get back to where he was.

  33. I wish he had a bigger presence on social media...or at least more braggadocious (take a page out of the rest of our books). He is the strongest gripper closer by a large margin in my opinion. If not for COVID, I believe he would have already certified on the 4.

  34. Nathan could cert the #4, probably even with a monster #4.
