  1. I bent a 50lb box of 60d nails this morning. 576 nails in 2 hours and 29 minutes. I am beat. I will post more about it later. Here are some pics.

  2. No video, but I just tried this and I wanted to grab the last place spot with 83lbs. Think I may be able to get 90 but probably not much more.

  4. Glute bridges. Bw squats. Planks. Bastard in IMPs. It's really weird how pain prevents us from accessing our power. I took like 3 hits (with breaks) on this Bastard before my index finger numbed up. After that, I melted it in 4 hits. I could have easily just walked away after any of the first hits...and given up. "Q" 0-1 DR @ 8 3/8" in IMPs. So during my first 50 days, I melted zero Qs in singles. Since then, and including today, I've bent 9 out of 10 in singles. Very defined progress. It amazes me how much I DONT know about bending. Today while working on the Q, i cocked my right wrist about 1/2" towards my chest (on the sweep), and moved it 25 degrees. So much of bending is harnessing power and delivering it at optimum angles. I need to pay even closer attention to my hits...if I want to be top notch bender. So another grease the groove day...but glad i did it.

  5. Great shoulder and tricep session today. I moved the workout forward one day so lest rest from my bench session cause I’m going to a grip training session at Tim butlers place tomorrow but still felt strong Seated 1 Arm DB Shoulder Press 3 warm ups 80 lbs.- 2x each arm 90 lbs - 2x each arm 100 lbs - 2x each arm 115 lbs Right arm - 2x. Nice!/105 lbs Left - 1x, 2x. There is definitely a sweet spot to hold the DB left with the bad wrist and I didn’t hit it first time so I reset and got a double after the single 95 lbs - 9x right and 5x left note - huge improvement right and similar to last week left but less rest time from bench. Less rest obviously effecting the bad left wrist more. Gym only has up to 120 lb DBs Seated DB Laterals 20 lb DBs - 10x 25 lb DBs - 10x 30 lb DBs - 10x Machine Rear Laterals 135 lbs - 3 sets of 10x Single Arm Machine Triceps Extensions 1 warm up 140 lbs - 4 sets of 10x each arm Note - strength definitely on the raise. Got some goals for tomorrow’s grip session and i plan on taking video. Let’s go!

  11. Oh, I'm sure I can beat Chris out for last place. I will try it later, if I can find a light enough axle lol. Well OK, maybe I can do the axle itself.

  12. Wow thanks very much for the insight! I do use clubs and find they are great for warm up. I'll give the rest of that a try.

  14. Planks. Bastard in IMPs. Just wanted to get something bent...right index is jacked. Its ripped underneath a callous. I may have to remove the whole thing. Regardless...its in a very inconvenient place for bending. In better news...palm tear is mending. Sooo...not really a workout today...just greasing the groove.

  18. OK, here we go.... Dear steel bending gentleman, we have a new Cert in the books. Very happy to have this bend on the list. It was one of the reasons for me to create this cert: see the best bends possible. It is one of the best bends in steel bending history - in my opinion it´s probably the best one till now. Alexander Klimovich could bend the 12.9 bolt today. This is a huge bend only a few will understand. Huge Congrats to Alexander. The list was updated: https://www.horrido-bending.com/cert-list And here is the Video (unfortunatley not the best video because of sun and shadow games, but make sure to watch it on the computer with bright light and you can see everything!) Maybe we will see another 12.9 cert in the near future from also one of the best benders from the other side of the world!? Or can anyone bend this bolt shorter? Who knows!?

  19. My second submission- 126lb IM Axle Strict curl. I need to train this lift to get better going forward as it is very hard for this cat. Hope to see more entries as Durry has a fun/challenging contest if you give it a try. Mucho respect to Durry for his 138 strict curl, which is very strong.

  33. Hip update: X-ray guided cortisone shot did nothing Physical therapy made it worse, but did let them figure out that I probably have a torn labrum in addition to the bad arthritis Went to doc today. Canceled PT going forward and scheduled me for an MRI next Thursday. Doing a 3T MRI to get a good look at the cartilage and confirm whether I have the torn labrum. Unfortunately my company went to high deductible / out of pocket insurance plans, so the mri is another $800 on top of all the doctor and pt costs. Then I meet with the surgeon to determine if it makes sense to try arthroscopic surgery to repair the torn labrum or if they just do the hip replacement because the cartilage is too much of a mess. So no good news. Looks like surgery of one sort or the other is only remedy left. Unfortunately my company made me use all my pto during covid slow times and I decided not to pay for the short term disability plan this year at work. So if they have to replace it, I'm going to have to grit my teeth and try to make it until January or I'm screwed. Have tried celebrex, ibu, tylenol and naproxen. Almost no relief if any. Maybe some placebo effect. Anyway, hoping they can fix it with arthroscopy. Would only miss a week or two of work. If they replace it, I'm out 6-8 weeks with no pay. Fun fun fun. To say I'm depressed would be an understatement.
