  1. Somehow I missed this post. Thanks for the kind words buddy. I actually went to a doctor today for a second opinion and it was way more positive than the first so it was good news day and picked my spirits up.

  2. Thanks Don. Not sure what’s been going on. Definitely frustrating and concerning, but will keep pushing on. Or do what I can.

  3. January 8, 2019 Before Supper Week 8. Still sick. Was supposed to be 3 sets of 4 for bench. Historically my toughest week. Lost tightness and missed the 4th on the first set so I dropped to triples. Can’t feel too bad. First miss in 36 weeks and I’m sick. Anywhooo, a few extra sets just cause. 4. It's all coming together.... Saxon bar is built and I have 2 training sessions on it. My wife is on board because she is an arachno-culturalist and there is a big-name tarantula breeder in Tuscon. Plus she wants to try to catch an Arizona Blonde tarantula in the wild. And she loves Mexican food (who doesn't).

  7. Good day. Not great, but good. Worked up to 410 x 3 on 2" NN. Was so tired from that effort that I missed 430. Next time. Switched to using the blockbuster clone I have for pinch training. Will be contesting that in a comp Feb 16 and I want to get used to the rounded edges. Makes it harder than the other 3" block I have which has much sharper edges. I was pretty beat from the NN and ended up getting several partial lifts with 90. One I got all the way but lost it at top. I think I'm good for 90-93 fresh, which is about 10 below where I am on the other block. Need to get this dialed in a little better so I can give Jedd and Luke a run for their money next month on the BB.

  9. Sorry to hear you weren’t able to complete this cert in 2018 Chez! 2019 has got to be the year you nail this. All the best in your recovery.

  13. Heh probably some special vodka Anyways he is a spectacular strength athlete one of the best in the world right now who could destroy the all time total world record in powerlifting right now if he wanted to. I'd love to see him compete in strongman since he is quite tall and would do well and probably make more money in that sport also. I think he is involved with armlifing in russia but he seems to be involved in grip for sure. Would be great to see him at mighty mitts also. The video reminded me of arm wrestler nick zinna who easily ccs a 3.5 sitting down after already taxing his grip on a lot of grip events.

  14. Yep. I’m injured at the moment guys. I’m still lifting but I have to stay away from grip for a bit while I heal. I’ll be back. Still tons of fight and no quit in me. I have come back stronger from every injury and I plan to do the same this time
