I know an old "Single Stamped" gripper from IronMind can go for a few ($150 or higher). If I had the money I would have gone for it myself. junior
Auction format is generally the best method for determining market value of an item. I'll upload a close attempt later today along with some pictures. This is the Babe Ruth (which I also collect) of strongman grippers. Here're a few of my Ruths. junior
Thanks! Got to looking at my pictures and scans when I mentioned Ruth, and figuring there has to be some baseball fans out there; some Cardinals or Angels fans; former or current players, etc, I wanted to show my 2004 Albert Pujols game used bat. Haven't looked at it in a while; poor bat . Anyway, gripper vid coming later today. Hope I can close it.

vongripper
I'll post some pics and a vid when I get it in the mail. I just saw this line of posts. I have an Ironmind gripper ( Tetting) that I bought in the '70's. Smooth steel handles.I think it was a 3 in their rating system(and "No,I was never able to close it".) Took it to C O C#1 and he warned me that it might be dangerous to close(or try) as he had one old one break and a piece of the spring hit him in the face. macaz
I was thinking of Jim Carry in dumb & dumber not Paul Hogan. Yes, Matt I know he is from Penn. A while ago I typed Swiss troll instead of the Swedish troll (or something like that) and I was corrected by Brent The Geography Hitler.
