Daniel Evans
Hi Chaps. I'm intending on shooting for a MM0 cert later today however I'm wondering if a set wider than parallel (in a one phase motion, taking out the assisting held well before reaching the point of parallel) is acceptable as opposed to bringing the handles to parallel, pausing then crushing? Thanks Edited December 14, 2009 by Daniel Evans
Joefrey
Judges need to see the setting before closing. In my opinion, if they can see the setting by pausing the video and see if OK, it's valid, you don't need to set, pause THEN close the gripper. Daniel Evans
How long does the review of the cert vid usually take?
Bill Piche
Thanks! Cert Vid submitted! No it wasn't. I got no video from you.
Daniel Evans
Thanks! Cert Vid submitted! No it wasn't. I got no video from you. It was sent though I've re-sent it now. The attached WMV file is 3.5 meg so shouldn't cause any problems. Thanks!
bencrush
Hope to hear you've smashed that #3 right proper Daniel!
Bill Piche
I got NOTHING from you. Zip. So, where you are sending it, it's not going anywhere. My email is editor@cyberpump.com I have no issues with getting a 3.5 meg attachment, but your emails are not getting to me.
Bill Piche
2 reds, 1 white. Video was too far away showing handles together without making an assumption because of the way it looked. That's the reason the judges gave 2 reds. You have to be able to see the handles touching fairly up close. Here's an example from the latest MMG1 cert that's very very good: http://www.gripboard.com/uploads/1258927690/gallery_9552_18_19594.jpg
