jvance
A quick vid explaining an exercise I feel that was directly responsible for significantly increasing my wide pinch and open hand strength. Want to master your goal blob? Well here's a shortcut...

burkhardmacht
Thanks for sharing! Did You already try to drag them with thumbs forward? Should be really tough! I have to try all of that...
Anthony C.
Thanks Jon! I've been doingb them the "hard way" and didn't even think about the easier way. Thank you for the vid.
Billy Jack
Very good explanation Jon. Also, one thing that helped me greatly when doing these same excercises a couple of years ago was to do them on a ramped board so that you can pull them up slowly and get even more resistance. I propped a piece of 2"x10" lumber on one of my flat benches and went up that ramp for reps. I only had to do this for like 3-4 sessions before I lifted my Blob50.

The floor type and angle you're leaning generally can make it easy enough for light rehab to challenging for work sets. Thanks for sharing! Did You already try to drag them with thumbs forward? Yep, the board drags or decline bench all are extra tools in the blob toolbox you can you use. I remember I'd seen Adam Glass demonstrate the ramp drags and did em for a little... I don't remember making any headway doing it that way and setting up the board and everything was kind of a pain. I like the drags because even with a tougher rubber floor you can make minor adjustments to how you hold the blob which determines how much resistance you'll be pulling. Jones1874
ive never trained with blobs so im not sure if this is a good idea or not. but depending on the surface, or if you have a massive blob you want to use just to get a feel for it, you could use a furniture slider or something like that.
