anwnate
Hey guys. When I hosted SJ3, I was OVERWHELMED by the number of sponsors that stepped up. I would like to emulate that by helping other Promoters out with Sponsorship as best I can. As I found out...promoting a contest isn't the easiest thing in the world and sponsors are greatly appreciated. With that in mind...I decided to sponsor Griptoberfest ( @acorn ). Thinking it over, I wanted to get something that pretty much any gripster would appreciate. I finally decided I could kill two birds with one stone, by using the Gripboard T-shirt campaign. I'm sending a T-shirt and two 5x7" stickers to Arizona. By doing so...a small portion of the proceeds go to help keep the Gripboard afloat and some lucky (or skilled) competitor will get an awesome shirt. Additionally, the promoter will be helped by making the event even cooler...if even in a small way. Although most of us don't have a ton of disposable cash, sponsoring can be as easy as sending a spare piece of equipment to the contest. There are 4 contests left in the Grip Season (that I know about). NCGC2 (9/17/2016) Griptoberfest (10/15/2016) King Kong (10/29/2016) (Multi-venue) Gripmas (12/10/2016) I know from experience, that any of these promoters...and competitors would appreciate ANY type of sponsorship possible. If you liked my idea... here's the link to the Gripboard campaign.
