nagual
I was just reading up on supplements that supposedly help the joints/ligaments/bones (such as glucosamine, gelatin, vitamin c, MSM, fish/flax oil etc) and I got to thinking that it would be a good idea to have a FAQ/sticky post on the subject... Also, all the hand health methods we are aware of and use, should be added, such as hot/cold baths, therapy balls etc I've seen the issue of injuries and hand health come up more and more often, so it seems warranted. Thoughts?
mossman
well i cant speak for any of the other things mentioned, but i do use fish oil and take a multi vitamin. the fish oil really helps. i tried flax seed oil for a while, but fish is more effective. also, i noticed better sleep and better concentration with the fish oil. give it a try. ianders1
B Vitamin Complexes are a natural anti-inflammatory, and work quite well without the stomach-hurting side effects of most anti-inflammatories.
foggymountainmuscle
Joint mobility movements make my hands and wrist feel really good reworkout and during recovery. Handhealth.com has some good hand drills. I like making figure 8s with my wrist, more like infinitity symbols, for both directions.
