Bill Piche Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 I figured I would make this post so people realize there are many other moderators who are partrolling the GripBoard. So, please don't assume Bill is deleting, closing, etc. all posts. However, the job is not easy as a moderator and it is often subjective. So, the other mod's have my support as they are good guys and try to do the right thing. Thanks all. Quote

I know being a mod is a demanding job!... maybe we cull some candidates and put it to a vote?? Quote "I have always been strong. I thought the same thing myself until he made this topic. Nothing wrong with adding moderators to help Bill out. Quote "I have always been strong. Bill Piche Posted April 25, 2004 Author Posted April 25, 2004 My mod's do their thankless work in anon fashion without looking to be "known". And, I thank them for it! Quote

So in other words, they make YOU look good!! I think it to be, the Mods make the Gboard look good! To keep it somewhat cleaned up and professional. Davekline Posted April 25, 2004 Posted April 25, 2004 I think people should just get a grip on things and not worry about who the moderating entity consists of. The system seems to work well enough. Quote Life without iron would be a very weak alloy.

The system seems to work well enough. I think a lot of your posts seem, in my opinion, to be direct attempts at steering threads off-topic. But I must agree with you. I applaud what the moderators do to keep this board a level above other forums I have visited. -Jedd- Quote The GOLD STANDARD Feat in Plate Pinching: 2x45s Pinch Get Your Copy Here: How to Pinch 2x45s Ebook Diesel Crew Store: http://www.dieselcrew.com/store/shop
Sybersnott Posted April 28, 2004 Posted April 28, 2004 I applaud what the moderators do to keep this board a level above other forums I have visited. Case in point: there is a certain forum that has AT LEAST a dozen mods per section and I don't know what in the world they do! I tried to get a grip strength/training subsection started and I PM'ed all of them asking for their opinion about it. Only two of them bothered to answer me. Needless to say, that idea never got off the ground - they just weren't interested. Quote "I have always been strong. Case in point: link to off-topic carping . I could have sworn a moderator was going to beat that down at any moment. Edited April 29, 2004 by Finnegann Quote
Monte Cristo2 Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 My mod's do their thankless work in anon fashion without looking to be "known". And, I thank them for it! Ditto that. There is less Trollage on this board than any Strength or Bodybuilding forum I have encountered. Quote
