BJones Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 After the posts from the other day and since I have tried to progressively reduce the amount of wrapping I use - This morning I cut my towels down to 4" wide by 12"long - I am still using small pieces of IM nylon on the ends (2.5"x3" at the most) (I simply will not risk a puncture). The results: 40d, 6"tt, Blue nail, Grade 5 bolt x2, 60d x2 The bends felt good - I could certainly feel the difference in wrapping - less on the ends (1" of overlap) and more pressure on the hands. I find myself using the high overhand style for the crush down - maybe eventually using this from the start but not yet. So - reducing the length of the wrapping is fine - I didn't want to comment until I had tried it. Brett Quote RED Nail Bender

HAMMERHEAD Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 No way! I don't believe it! There is no way you can bend without a rag helping you! Nice job. -HH Quote
