since_1982 Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Hi, I have been a member of this great board for a few weeks now. I have been going through old posts and viewing pics and movies. I thought an introduction would be in order. I´m 21 years old and have been working with weights on and off for some years. I have consentrated on my grip for several weeks now. And yes, I´m pretty much addicted on grip training. I have also been doing some bending. As far as strength levels go, I can close the CoC#2 and pinch two 25´s pretty easily. What about goals then? Well, CoC #3, pinch two 35´s and two 45´s some day, and overall hand strength improvement. You could say I want hands so strong, I´m afraid to scratch myself This is a great board and I´m honoured to be a part of it. I´m sorry if the grammar sucks. English isn´t my first language. -Ari Quote "Athair ar Neamh, Dia linn"
odin Posted April 10, 2004 Posted April 10, 2004 Welcome! Your English is great, don't worry about it. If you want more overall hand strength, get some block weights. Quote Spoiler Bob Sundin 5'11 and 162 lbs. https://m.youtube.com/channel/UC7AZdUkf0aEDB3ET4UhU3Bg/videos

since_1982 Posted April 10, 2004 Author Posted April 10, 2004 Thanks guys. I´m feeling right at home already. Block weights are indeed first on my list of things to get. I´ve read so much about how beneficial they are it would be just downright stupid of me not to get a few of them. I´m from Finland. I guess my english is fairly good. Plus I have a dictionary ready at all times -Ari Quote "Athair ar Neamh, Dia linn"

since_1982 Posted April 11, 2004 Author Posted April 11, 2004 Yeah, that is my favourite "grip quote". It´s from the CoC manual. From the one and only J. B Kinney BTW, I really enjoyed his section of the book. His writing style reminds me of John McCallum. Quote "Athair ar Neamh, Dia linn"
