Clay Edgin Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Woodchuck no-set closing a #3 (800kb): http://www.castledarkmoor.com/strongman/sh...hawn-noset3.WMV No surprise there. But he wanted his name on the no-set #3 list, so we did the video for proof. Woodchuck closing MM1 Replica/BBE (1.3mb): http://www.castledarkmoor.com/strongman/sh...nMM1replica.WMV This is Austin Slater's MM1 replica. It feels quite a bit like the real thing and I don't doubt that he could close the real deal now. Woodchuck doesn't mess around with deep sets either. Not all the videos I do have a happy ending. Here is a near-close of the BBSE 770kb): http://www.castledarkmoor.com/strongman/claybbseattempt.WMV I got it this close three times that night. I tried closing it a couple days before this and did manage to shut it once but I wasnt' running video that night. The wire size on this is .003 thinner than the MM3, but the spring mounting depth is the big difference. I think the MM3 is set at 1/4" while this BBSE is set at 1/8", so the BBSE is a bit tougher. I feel good about my chances with the MM3, but all bets are off with the MM4 if I decide to pursue it. Hey, how many Cyberpump T-shirts does one person really need? Especially if they don't fit? And introducing the newest gripster on the block. She's got mommy's attitude and daddy's size. Her form is pretty bad, but she's only 17 months old so I cut her a little slack. (500kb): http://www.castledarkmoor.com/strongman/Courtney5lb.WMV This is one of those little neoprene covered dumbbells that weighs 5lbs. When she sees Woodchuck and I playing with blobs and the Inch bell, she laughs and plays along with her dumbbell. I am thinking about cutting off the weights from handle so she can have her own "baby blobs." haha. Most of the time she just walks around holding the dumbbell when we do our grip work, but sometimes she will try to imitate our lifts. Quote
Bill Piche Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Hey, how many Cyberpump T-shirts does one person really need? Especially if they don't fit? Why do you think I haven't opened up the MMG3 yet? I also need to figure out a fair way to draw who goes first. It's likely the first guy or maybe more will have a prize bigger than 100 dollars. Quote

Clay Edgin Posted April 9, 2004 Author Posted April 9, 2004 Just to clear something up before he gets pissed off and throws a hex head at me, Woodchuck does not have buck teeth. Sausage Fingers jokingly said "Fear the buck teeth!" one time while we were doing some grip training and it just kinda stuck. Quote
