EricMilfeld Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 (edited) I just got back from certifying in the presence of Bill Holland, his very supportive wife, and my buddy Weldon and one of his friends. I've been so nervous and anxious now for a week, and it just feels great to finally have done it! Surprising myself, I managed the entire bend in 30 seconds. So I then tried a 6 1/2" Red, and came very close. If you lay the nail with one of its legs on a table, the other leg points up at an angle of about 60 degrees. I just couldn't quite do the last portion of the crushdown. But I don't care!!! Thank you guys and gals of the Gripboard for the support, advice, and continual motivation. Thank you Weldon and Chris for being two very awesome training buddies. And praise be to the Lord Jesus Christ! Edited April 5, 2004 by EricMilfeld Quote

dubthewonderscot Posted April 5, 2004 Posted April 5, 2004 Guys, I was very proud to be among those who witnessed Eric assault on the Red. He bent it so fast! It was amazing. I truly feel he could have come close to doing two Reds in one minute had the second been wrapped and ready. Its not often you get to see a worldclass feat of strength. I had a friend with me who is a stranger to the grip community with me. On the drive back to the office he turned his head and looked at me and said "how can I quantify what I just saw? i know I cant do it, but that probably doesn't tell me the full story" he sat there for a second and said "well, I guess I can quantify it, less than 10 people on the planet can or have done it!" So Eric made an impact on a non-gripper and I know he did on me. Great job dude! Weldon Quote Weldon Stogsdill
