Z-man Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Nik, I replaced my 1" bar with a 2" bar and did all my normal excercises (except Squats) w/ my thick bar. I work out 3 days a week, so i did the thickbar 3 days a week and then other grip stuff on odd days. Quote
larsontodd Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 I use the thick bar no more than twice a week. My primary focus on a thick bar includes deadlifts and clean and press. In the past I've used it up to three times a week and for me that was too often! I think it all depends on the movement and the weights being used though.
